and I have been an esthetician for about 30 years.
I own a skin care salon in Newport Beach, California.
I was born and raised in Durban, South Africa, finished my last 2 years of high school in Israel, lived and worked in England for 5 years, but call the USA home.
I have wanted to be an esthetician since age 11 when I used to watch the Max Factor girls behind the department store counters.
What a wonderful surprise when I discovered the intriguing world of skin care salons!.
The relationship I have with my clients is very personalized and we become good friends over the years of them being treated on my facial bed.
I hear lots of amazing stories and grow to love them like family.
I also teach them a lot about skin care and health. They often ask me questions which shows me mistakes people make at home, and misunderstandings about skin care, and I always say I must write about that, so here I am now hoping to educate people through my friendly blog.

I am very low maintenance and not one to splurge on beauty treatments, but getting facials and skincare products from Mandy is the one thing I treat myself to, because it is so darn effective.
Mandy understands that everyone's skin is different and tailors her treatment and recommended products to my skin, which has been a challenge in the past because it is a combination of oily and dry.
Mandy is lovely, always warm and welcoming and asking about my family, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and finding the right skincare regimen for you.
Her facials are heavenly, and I always leave relaxed and glowing.
I also use products from her own skincare line (specifically her sunscreen and brightening serum), and my skin has never looked better.
I highly recommend her and can't wait until I can go back!
